What a Visit Looks Like

A Typical Two-Session Travel Plan

Most scalp micropigmentation plans involve two to three sessions spaced ten to fourteen days apart. That window is well-suited to a planned Sonoma County visit — arrive for Session 1, explore the region during the healing window, return for Session 2.

Fly into STS (15 minutes away), SFO, or OAK and drive north. Your first session runs two to four hours depending on coverage area. Plan to arrive the day before or the morning of — no rushed travel on session day.
2–4 Hours | Private Studio | Santa Rosa
Days 2–13
Healing Window — Explore Sonoma County
This is your recovery and exploration window. The scalp heals quietly between sessions. Avoid direct sun and swimming — otherwise you have all of Sonoma County available. Wine country, the coast, the redwoods, Healdsburg, Napa, San Francisco. The region rewards those who move at a relaxed pace.
10–14 Days Between Sessions
Day 11–14
Session 2
Session 2 builds on the healed foundation from Session 1 — refining density, adjusting pigment tone, and completing the design. Most clients feel the result come together in this session.
2–4 Hours | Same Studio | Same Artist
Weeks 6–8 Post Final Session
Healed Result Assessment
Full healed results are typically visible six to eight weeks after the final session. A photo review is scheduled at this point. If minor refinement is needed, a touch-up session is planned. Many clients return — and find a reason to come back to Sonoma County again.

No session is booked without a consultation first — in-person, by phone, or virtually. Out-of-town clients typically complete their consultation by phone or video before traveling so Session 1 can begin without delay.

Plan Your Timeline Carefully
Sessions are spaced 10–14 days apart. Full healed results take 6–8 weeks after the final session. If you have a specific event in mind, use our Event Timeline Calculator to confirm your plan is realistic.

Sun & Aftercare Between Sessions
Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure on the scalp during the healing window between sessions. This is easy to manage with a hat. Swimming in pools and open water should also be avoided. Full aftercare guidance is provided at each session.

Every session is by private appointment. No waiting room, no other clients. Your consultation — whether by phone, video, or in person — is handled personally by Jon Neong, not an intake coordinator or sales rep.
